DAY-1 : TOUR DETAILS
Begin your journey with an early morning flight to Paro, Bhutan (please check flight timings). Flights from Delhi, Kathmandu, Dhaka, Bangkok, or Singapore are considered among the most scenic in the world, offering breathtaking views of some of the highest Himalayan peaks.
Upon arrival at Paro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your guide and transferred to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan.
After lunch, visit the Memorial Chorten, built in memory of the Third King of Bhutan. This sacred site serves as a gathering place for locals, particularly the elderly, who spend their time in prayer and social interaction.
Continue to Changangkha Lhakhang, the oldest temple in the valley, offering beautiful panoramic views. Then visit the Takin Preserve, home to Bhutan’s national animal.
Later, drive to see the Buddha Dordenma Statue, one of the largest Buddha statues in the world, offering magnificent views of the Thimphu Valley. After 5 PM, visit Tashichho Dzong, the impressive fortress that houses the throne of the King.
In the evening, enjoy a leisurely walk through Thimphu town, the largest and most vibrant urban center in Bhutan.

DAY-2 : TOUR DETAILS
Start your morning with a visit to the Weekend Market (open Friday to Sunday), where local villagers gather to sell fresh produce and traditional goods, reflecting Bhutan’s community lifestyle and traditional barter practices.
Continue to visit the Handmade Paper Mill, the School of Arts and Crafts (where students learn 13 traditional Bhutanese arts), the Folk Heritage Museum, and the National Library, which preserves Bhutan’s rich religious manuscripts and Buddhist teachings.
Visit Dechenphodrang Monastic School to meet young monks, followed by a visit to Zilukha Nunnery, where you can interact with resident nuns.
After lunch, drive to Punakha via the Dochula Pass (3,200 m). If weather permits, enjoy spectacular panoramic views of the Himalayan mountain range. Take a short walk around the 108 stupas before continuing into the lush subtropical valley of Punakha.
En route, enjoy a scenic hike through paddy fields and traditional villages to visit Chimi Lhakhang, also known as the Temple of Fertility.

DAY-3 : TOUR DETAILS
In the morning, visit the magnificent Punakha Dzong, one of Bhutan’s most beautiful and historically significant fortresses, showcasing exquisite Bhutanese architecture.
After the visit, you may opt for a half-day hike starting above the Dzong. The trail includes a short, steep climb and rewards you with stunning views of the valley, turquoise river, and surrounding landscapes. The route ends across a newly constructed bridge where your vehicle will meet you.
After lunch, you can take an optional uphill hike to Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten, which overlooks paddy fields and winding river bends.
Alternatively, you may drive towards Wangdue Phodrang and take a short hike to Rinchengang Village, an ancient settlement known for its well-preserved traditional houses. If preferred, you may also relax at your hotel and enjoy the surrounding natural beauty.

DAY-4 : TOUR DETAILS
If staying at select hotels (such as Meri Puensum, Zandopelri, or Densa), you may start your day with an early morning walk to a nearby nunnery, where you can interact with the nuns and enjoy panoramic views of the Punakha and Wangdue valleys.
After breakfast, drive back to Paro. Upon arrival, visit Paro Dzong and take a walk across the oldest wooden bridge still in use.
Later, explore Paro town, visiting local handicraft shops and, if available, witnessing a traditional archery match, Bhutan’s national sport.

DAY-5 : TOUR DETAILS
In the morning, drive to the base point for the hike to the iconic Tiger’s Nest Monastery (Taktsang Monastery). This sacred site is perched dramatically on a granite cliff overlooking the Paro Valley. The hike takes approximately 3 hours uphill, and most of the day will be dedicated to this experience.
On your return, if time and energy permit, visit Kichu Lhakhang, one of the oldest temples in Bhutan and a significant site marking the introduction of Buddhism in the country.
In the evening, you may enjoy a traditional hot stone bath (available at an additional cost), followed by a farewell dinner with your guide.
Overnight stay in Paro
DAY-6 : TOUR DETAILS
After breakfast, transfer to Paro International Airport (approximately 15 minutes). Your guide will assist you with departure formalities and bid you farewell.
Depart with unforgettable memories of Bhutan’s breathtaking landscapes, rich culture, and spiritual heritage.
